What are Target Groups?

Definitions

Mobility flows in Erasmus Mundus Action 2 are divided up into a maximum of three Target Groups ("TG"). The broad definitions of these are:

  • TG1: individuals that are registered with/linked to one of the 20 full member universities participating in EURICA
  • TG2: individuals who are nationals of one of the eight Latin American countries participating in EURICA but not registered at/linked to one of the 20 full member universities participating in EURICA
  • TG3: individuals who are nationals of one of the eight Latin American countries participating in EURICA who are in particularly vulnerable situations for social or political reasons

Mobility from Europe to Latin America can only take place in Target Group 1, i.e. applicants should be registered at/linked to one of the seven EU partner universities in EURICA. For the specific requirements, see here.

Mobility from Latin America takes place in all three Target Groups. For the specifics on the different mobility types available per country, see here. For more information on the specific requirements, please consult here. See the full list of Latin American partners.

If you have any doubts after reading the information, please do not hesitate to contact EURICA.
